Truman students are part of a Missouri coalition (8 schools) focused on sustainability initiatives. The Truman student organization, called ECO, hosts a website where information is shared with anyone interested, and the group also hosts a Facebook page.

Truman students have created a publication on sustainable recipes.

MSEC

Truman is a member of the Missouri Student Environmental Coalition (MSEC). MSEC is comprised of Missouri students and organizations that work to increase the positive impact the state has on the environment through action, advocacy and education.

AASHE

 Truman is a member of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE).  AASHE is a non-profit membership organization for colleges and universities which offers both direction and the resources for the institution to start sustainability initiatives and programs.
